Ashleigh Couch, Head Of Marketing – Neighbourly Brands
"I applied for the role, via LinkedIn, and had an initial call from Penny to chat through the role and my experience which was really good. I then met Martin, and we went into the role in more detail. This was my first experience of working with Mallory Partners and they were clearly equally interested in my leadership potential as much as my professional achievements - and I really appreciated that. I also liked the fact that Martin clearly knew his client really well and had dealt with the hiring managers before; this gave me a real confidence that he understood the dynamics of the role and the team I would be joining.
"They called me again, before my first interview, to check in on how I was feeling, where I was in other processes I was involved in, and to talk through potential questions to ask. It was all incredibly useful and I thought they had all the bases covered. They checked in after each interview and were generally very supportive throughout the whole process. In particular, at the offer stage, I felt they represented mine and their clients' needs very effectively. They had discussed with me in advance what I would need in terms of a package, and I feel they represented my needs well and fairly to their client.
"There was a short delay in the process at one point, so I sent an email in to check on progress and within 20 minutes they were on the phone with an update. Other than that, I never had to chase them once; I never felt forgotten. The whole process only took three weeks, and they managed expectations really well. I'm really impressed with how efficient and detailed they are in the way they work and, in particular, in the level of direct contact I had with Martin as one of the managing directors. In fact, I can't fault them at all.
