Raja Javaid, CITO – University of Warwick
"I approached Mallory Partners via LinkedIn regarding the CITO role at Warwick University.
"After a quick call to establish the basics, and email follow up, I had an initial meeting with John and Martin. They were professional, friendly, and open - and considering it was via Teams it felt very relaxed. However, what really struck me was the thoroughness of their questions. I found the meeting challenging and helpful in equal measure, which was reassuring. They wanted to find out more about me and gave me useful pointers on what the university was looking for, but they also represented the needs of the university, as their client, in making sure I was the right candidate, which I appreciated. I felt I was talking directly to Warwick University at times.
"At each stage, John provided proactive support - briefing me before the interview and following up afterwards. I was offered the job the same day and John went above and beyond in his support to make sure the deal was right for both sides. It always felt very personal, never that he was pushing to secure the fee. That's very impressive - and unusual."
